One Day in Paradise closed earlier in the year to concentrate on some new manufacturing deals and to find a new, larger location. In the meantime buyers have been able to purchase on the website or buy at any of the number of the conventions that One Day in paradise has gone to this year.
As Lolitas we get used to buying almost everything online, so having a physical shop is far more preferred. Pretty much all the Lolitas in Adelaide have been waiting to hear the news of One Day in Paradises opening the new shop. Over the last couple of weeks there have been some murmurs going around about a new location being found and shortly followed up by teaser pictures on facebook by the owner Marie. This week at last we were invited to the new shop opening as well as tea and cakes to celebrate the event.
We all gathered outside the store at 5:45 ready to be let in. When the doors to the shop were opened by Marie, everyone rushed in and started shopping.
For the opening Marie wore a Baby the Stars Shine bright Museum Tours Corset JSK with a triple Fortune bonnet. Bridget wore a Baby the Stars Shine Bright JSK that she recently picked up on her trip to Japan. I was wearing my Angelic Pretty Misty Sky JSK in lavender. I don’t usually feel this short, but next to Bridget in heels I feel tiny!
All the racks were full of glorious lolita! There is a new shipment due this week and all of the convention stock will be arriving back shortly! Ill be back again soon to check out all the new items.
The shop front makes a great backdrop for a coordinate shot. Congratulations on the new store Marie, its lovely!

I am so sad that I missed the opening, but I was stuck at home with the flu. The new store looks wonderful, I can’t wait to visit!
It’s so great having an actual store to go in and buy again!
