Hilton High Tea

Hilton High Tea, yes please! With a Haighs chocolate selection, yes please! Adelaide is home to Haighs chocolate and we had heard a little rumor that the Hilton had added it, as an option to their High Tea. Being the High Tea connoisseurs that we were, we felt the need to go and try it out. Haighs are very well known (in my opinion) for having the best chocolate around!.

The brasserie within the Hilton Hotel, holds the high teas with the added option of the chocolate table buffet, which is all you can eat….. All you can eat Haighs Chocolate! Here I am posed with the chocolate selection of pastries, desserts, loose chocolate and truffles and a lovely fruit and chocolate fountain. This is in addition to the standard high tea platter and huge range of teas!

The high tea offering had three levels, the bottom layer starting with sandwiches, rolls and quiche. The middle layering offering scones and cake. The top layer a colorful selection of tarts, macarons and cupcakes. There was also a lovely platter for those who were vegetarian and gluten free.
Corrina and I share a selfie (before we are comatose from the chocolate)

Britt and Alycia posing on the right and Sarah and I across the table on the left.

Our coordinates on the day start off with Alycia who is wearing a Metamorphose Swan Lake Ribbon Tulle JSK. Britt looks good enough to eat in her chocolate theme Baby the Stars Shine Bright Bon-Bon Chocolat Dance Dance Dance Praline JSK. I am also on theme, wearing an Angelic Pretty Royal Chocolate Round JSK. I coordinated it with a Wondertropolis chocolate chiffon blouse, Angelic Pretty headbow, socks and chocolate boots, finished off with a Q-pot necklace.

Corrina is wearing a handmade JSK that she was inspired to make, to match a Pullip that she owned. Jasmin is also wearing a skirt that she handmade featuring little deers. On the far right is Nadia who is wearing a pretty in pink, Angelic Pretty Wonder Party skirt.

Jess also handmade her JSK in similar colours to Corrina. I’m very envious of her ruffling skills! Sarah looks lovely in a pink rose print OP. Lastly Tamara is wearing one of my favourite prints, Angelic Pretty Melty Chocolate mini sleeved JSK.

The high tea rated quite highly and would be in my top 5 favorite places for high tea, ill definitely be going back soon.

One last group picture before we were all sugared out! From left to right Sarah, Tamara, Jasmin, Alycia, Jess. Christine, Nadia, Britt and Corrina. Thanks girls for a lovely afternoon.
