Australian Lolitas coordinate your BFF

This event is all about your BFF! Invite them over and design a coordinate just for them. If they usually wear lolita, try something completely different, something they that have never tried before.
Share a picture and tell us a little about how and why you put the coordinate together.

Skye

I had a lovely time going through Sophie’s wardrobe with her and picking out a sweet strawberry outfit. πŸ“
Sophie is great and coordinating jewel tones and classic old school outfits so I wanted to try something a little different, but still keeping the solid colours of her favourite looks with the cardigan and socks.
This was such a fun collaboration event πŸ’–

Sophie
I was delighted to be asked by Skye Wallace to do this challenge. I think about ten years ago I met Skye through a friend and she introduced me to the world of lolita fashion. Before our chats I had only seen some of the fashion on eBay (yikes haha). In 2016 I went to visit Skye in Japan while on holiday and started wearing lolita after that.
Today we went with a beautiful strawberry and chocolate themed dress from BTSSB and paired it with a cutsew and beret. It was fun brainstorming new ideas πŸ˜ƒ
I managed to dress myself between breastfeeding my baby and putting him to sleep as well. Mum life

Nat

I (Lyn) had the pleasure of dressing Neko Nat up like a princess! She normally wears cute sweet and food prints, so it was nice to see this style on her πŸ™‚

Lyn

Lyn has always had a thing for very soft colours, creams mostly and whites. So I decided to introduce her to a bitter sweet look. Love the short hair too! She definitely has a cute punk look about her I can’t deny!~πŸ˜ŽπŸ’•πŸ–€πŸ₯§πŸ°d food prints, so it was nice to see this style on her πŸ™‚ Nat

Tamara

Tamara was one of the first lolitas I met in Adelaide and she wore sweet daily to work! She has changed her style over the years and I couldn’t resist putting her back into something more sweet (sorry I don’t own anything more pink or pastel) couldn’t resist adding the curly pigtails as well.

Christine

So, for this event I (Tamara) dressed up Christine. I put her in this cute red and white older Angelic Pretty sailor dress. I put her in this as I thought it would be flattering and look great on her, and I was right πŸ˜€

This event was lots of fun and I had a great time choosing what to dress my BFF in!
